Red Bull X-Fighters, 16. August(ACHTUNG GEÄNDERTES DATUM) in Wuppertal- Steinbruch Oetelshofen
Endlich Red Bull X-Fighters auch in Deutschland!
Unter dem Motto `FMX meets Industry´ werden die zwölf besten
internationalen Freestyle Motocross Fahrer um den inoffiziellen WM Titel
kämpfen. Vielleicht kennt ihr die Bilder der tobenden Zuschauermenge aus
den Stierkampfarenen von bei den Red Bull X-Fighters in Madrid oder Mexico
City? Jetzt kommen die Red Bull X-Fighters erstmals nach Deutschland ins
Ruhrgebiet in einen Steinbruch, der sonst der Öffentlichkeit nicht
zugänglich ist. 25.000 Zuschauer sollen die Tribünen im Steinbruch fassen.
Das Starterfeld am 16. August(ACHTUNG GEÄNDERTES DATUM): die deutsche Nr. 1 Busty Wolter, Nate Adams,
Mat Rebeaud, Dany Torres und Robbie Maddison.

This year the 26Trix course should blast all expectations. The coursebuilders-crew around Markus Hampl did a real good job, the dirt-jump track (consisting of nine jumps) looked really sweet and the riders from over 17 nations where keen to rock it.

But perseverative rain made an adequate training impossible. The ground of the track was much too soft to ride – so the riders and us decided to cancel the contest.

But instead of hanging around, the riders had a lot of fun anyway: Riding the nice Freeride-track at the Bikepak Leogang, sliding around within go-carts, checking out a few jumps of the 26Trix course during the rain-breaks or poping up high at the bunny hop contest and at least going mad at the “de buam” party. This weekend offered a lot of fun an courious stories – thank all of you for a great time!
